Competitions at Riverside Golf Club Ravenstonedale

Most years we hold competitions and fun days that are usually open to visitors. We don't always post the results on our website but some are recorded below. Anyone wishing to use the course for their own competitions, golf day, stag party, inter-company groups etc for afternoons, evenings or all day please contact Bernard on 015396 23654.

Competitions 2015	Sunday 17th May Foothold. Kirkby Stephen under 12s football team. Kirkby Stephen under 12s football team, along with parents. End of season treat and competition. Last summer Foothold was introduced in a successful charity event to raise funds for Newbiggin- On- Line chapel roof fund.
Competitions 2014	6th Sept 9am.- 4pm Charity event in aid of Newbiggin Methodist Chapel roof fund. Target £30,000. Foot golf tournament. 9 hole. Tee to hole in least number ok kicks. Bring a football and flat footware. No football boots. Various prizes. Come along and have some fun. Try something different.

Competitions 2004	Charity Doubles (Diabetes UK) Winners; Andy Lockhart & Nick Rogan 61
Competitions 2003	Charity Doubles (Kidney Research) The 1st year of our doubles tournament was played in memory of Matthew Hutchinson, who was a member of the club. He tragicaly died last October shortly after doing the Great North Run for the above charity. This year Bernard and his brother David are doing the Great North Run in memory of Matthew and are raising funds via this doubles tournament. £260 was raised, thanks to all who came to compete and enjoy the day. Competitions 2001	Open Tournament The annual Ravenstonedale Open was cancelled in 2001 due to Foot and Mouth restrictions.
